Terms of sale and licence agreement

These Terms govern every purchase made on a-6archives.com (the "Store") from A-6 Archives, Mississippi, USA ("A-6 Archives", "we", "us"). By buying, downloading or using our products you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't buy or use the products.

1. What We Sell

1.1 We sell digital modifications ("Mods") for the video game DayZ: files in PBO format and, when stated on the product page, their source files. Nothing physical is shipped.

1.2 Some Mods (currently A-6 Weapons, A-6 Gunplay and A-6 Optics) are "Licensed Mods": they only work on game servers registered to your licence (see section 4).

1.3 DayZ is a game by Bohemia Interactive. A-6 Archives is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Bohemia Interactive. You need your own legal copy of DayZ and/or DayZ Server.

2. Account and Orders

2.1 You buy with your Discord account. Your purchases, Discord roles and licence are linked to that account. You are responsible for keeping it secure.

2.2 You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

2.3 We may refuse or cancel an order (for example suspected fraud or a pricing error). If we cancel a paid order, we refund it in full.

3. Prices, Taxes and Payment

3.1 Prices are in US dollars (USD). Applicable sales tax is added at checkout and shown before you pay.

3.2 Payment is processed by PayPal. We never see or store your card or bank details.

3.3 Prices may change at any time, but never for an order already paid.

4. Licence to Use the Mods (rights of use)

4.1 When your payment is complete, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Mods you bought, for one Community, under these Terms.

4.2 Licensed Mods only work on the servers you register in your customer area (server IP + game port). The public name of each server must contain your Community name. Using the licence for another Community requires an additional licence, available from our staff.

4.3 A "Community" is one project: the servers run by the same server team, under the same name, with the same website and the same Discord server (when it has them). If one of these is different, it is a different Community and needs its own licence.

4.4 You may only use the licence on servers that your Community runs itself. Buying for, or running the Mods on, servers of another person or team is not allowed.

4.5 A "server" is one DayZ server instance, whether it runs on a dedicated machine, a VPS or a game host. If your licence has a server limit, you must not run the Mods on more servers than allowed. Test servers do not count toward that limit if "test" is in their name and they are limited to 10 players.

4.6 Your players may download and use the client files of the Mods only to play on your servers.

4.7 Source files, when included, may be used and modified only for your own servers.

4.8 You may NOT:

• share, resell, sublicense, rent, give away or publish the Mods or their source files, including on the Steam Workshop under your own account, unless we allow it in writing;
• remove, bypass or tamper with the licence check, obfuscation or protections, or try to de-obfuscate the protected files (A-6 Core);
• use the Mods on servers that are not registered to your licence;
• claim the Mods as your own work.

4.9 All rights not expressly granted are reserved. The Mods remain the property of A-6 Archives. You buy a licence to use them, not the Mods themselves.

5. Delivery

5.1 Digital delivery is immediate: after the payment is confirmed, your files are available on your "My downloads" page and your Discord roles are given.

5.2 Delivery is complete when the files are made available to you. Our download records (time, IP address, amount of data downloaded) and licence records (servers registered, licence checks) are kept as proof of delivery and use.

6. Refunds

6.1 Because the products are digital and delivered immediately, ALL SALES ARE FINAL once the files have been made available, except where the law requires otherwise. Before paying, you confirm that you understand this.

6.2 We will refund, at our discretion and in full or in part, if:

• you were charged twice for the same order;
• the product cannot work and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time after you contacted our support.

6.3 Refund requests: a ticket on our Discord (discord.gg/34hv6Hn5Me) within [14] days of purchase.

6.4 When an order is refunded, the licence, the Discord roles and the access to the downloads of that order are removed.

7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

7.1 Please contact us before opening a PayPal dispute or chargeback; most issues are solved quickly through support.

7.2 If you open a dispute or chargeback for a delivered order, we will provide our delivery and usage records to PayPal, and your licence may be suspended until the dispute is closed. Abusive chargebacks may lead to a permanent ban from our Store and Discord.

8. Updates and Support

8.1 We may release updates (for example for new DayZ versions). Updates for the Mods you own are included at no extra cost, through your download page, for as long as we support that Mod.

8.2 Game updates by Bohemia Interactive can break Mods. We make reasonable efforts to update them but cannot guarantee a delay.

9. Suspension and Termination

9.1 We may suspend or end your licence, without refund, if you break these Terms (in particular section 4.8).

9.2 When the licence ends, you must stop using the Mods and delete them from your servers.

10. Warranty Disclaimer

THE MODS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE MODS WILL BE COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY OTHER MOD OR EVERY FUTURE VERSION OF THE GAME.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, A-6 ARCHIVES IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PLAYERS OR REVENUE). OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT CONCERNED. Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.

12. Personal Data

To sell, deliver and protect the Mods we process: your Discord ID and username, your PayPal payer email, order details, the IP addresses and ports of your registered servers, licence check logs, and download logs (time, IP address). We use them only to run the Store and the licence, prevent fraud and answer disputes. We do not sell your data. Payments are handled by PayPal under its own privacy policy. Open a ticket on our Discord to ask for access to or deletion of your data (deletion ends the licence, since it depends on that data).

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The version shown at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase; later versions apply to later purchases and to the continued use of updates.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Mississippi, unless the law of your place of residence gives you the right to another court.
